What Is a Xanthelasma?

The exact cause of xanthelasmas is not fully understood, but it is often associated with high levels of cholesterol in the blood. She will then apply a small amount of antibiotic ointment to promote healing and prevent infection.

Aftercare and Recovery

Following xanthelasma removal, you can expect some swelling and bruising around the eyes, which typically subsides within a few days.
